Keep an eye on the message of the day found on the home page. We usually place a quote there along with the date and something fun - a fact, a word of the day, or an authors famous last words! And sometimes, usually around holidays, site memberships go on sale! And that's where you'll be notified!
Site Contest
Every month Kari and I will host a contest where the winner receives a free, month-long gold membership, as well as their winning story featured on the front page. Our contests aren't usually too difficult, but they require some effort to win.
Group of the Month
Every month one group is selected to be advertised on a column available from the front page. The group's leader is interviewed, and the advertising usually boosts entries and activity in the group.
Spotlights
When you see a story, group, or column that you really like, submit it for a spotlight on the sidebar! You'll be amazed at the amount of people who see it when it makes it to the front page.
