How To Show - Not Tell! :D

This entry column is on how to show not tell. That means when having to describe a character, you should not go deep into the subject (e.g : "She had blue eyes with black hair and purple teeth with stubbles on her chin"). Instead, you could do : "with her long, outstanding, glossy black hair sticking to her blue- eyed face, she carefully flipped it back using her long, tender finger nails, quickly catching her hard, manly-like stubbles on her perfect rounded chin". You get me? I hope so! So, just read the extended content for some examples and rated examples with some techniques on how to do this trick aswell!
So, you have seen one of my Level 4 examples, now its time to see my Level 5 examples!

1). Crap example : "She had short toe-nails with hairs on the toes and cracked skin on her heels".

Amazing example : "Wearing flip-flops, her very miniture toe-nails were very noticeable so she quickly hid them, now showing her cracked, ugly heels as she bent down. Feeling more ashamed, she stood up in less time that you could say 'look!'. As soon as she done that, you could ALSO notice her unattractive VERY (x2) hairy toes! Yuk! It nearly made me puke!

Rated Level 5. 9/10.

Tips & Reasons -

Well, you should always think about "Show Not Tell" because in SATs or anything like that, you get higher marks for that. I hope you use this rule because it gives you better scores and improves your english scores. Good Luck!
