Tips:
1. Understand why you get writers block.
There is a reason you get writers block, and it is when you get too detailed and specific on a project. Try looking over your work and take out some of the things you don't need just yet. Plus, looking over what you have done can spark a new idea.
2. Music, music, music!
Music is a great inspiration tool. If you can't think of anything, listen to music that you like, or if you are working on a project like a novel, music that has to do with your idea.
3. Take a break.
Work on a different project, write short stories, or try something completly new. If you always write horror, try writing a nice poem. Or if you write fantasy, try writing a mystery novel.
4. Write every day.
Make sure you write every day to keep your ideas flowing. If you don't, your writers block will just get worse. Write short stores, a chapter, or poems every day. Or, try entering a contest on storywrite
They usually have some idea or prompt of some sort to work with, so it makes you think of ideas. 5. Freewrite.
Freewrites are incredible. Pick a topic. If you're writing a novel, try writing from a different characters point of view. It can help you see what you need to improve on. You don't even have to be online to do them. Just take out a ntebook and write.
6. Write without looking over your work.
The more you look over your work before you are finished with it, the more you will see things that aren't actually flaws. Your ideas will flow much better if you let them direct themselves, if that makes sense.
The bottom line is, if you write every day and write a variety of different things, you will become a better writer.
