Creating A Character

What's a story without characters?

What is a story without characters? Characters are very important to a story. Creating a character sometimes can be hard, such as naming it.

Tips On Naming Your Character:

Sometimes names don't need to be fancy, or long. It can be short and sweet, and is sometimes better to stick to the basic names so it's easier for people to read. Do you have a favorite name? It can be any name in the world you like, and sometimes that is an easy way to start.

Those were 25 quick names I got off the top of my head. Now that you have a name for your character, you need to decided what your character looks like. That is called description . You need to describe the way your character looks.

Example:

Alice had a slim and tall figure, short brown hair around shoulder length, some freckles here and there, tan skin, and forest green eyes. Everyday she stands so still, staring off into face, with her long, shaggy bangs hanging over her eyes. Sometimes, I get so annoyed with them, I would like to take a pair of scissors and cut them all off!

It's as easy as that!

So now we have description, and we have a name. What else do we need? Oh, that's RIGHT!!! We totally need an attitude and personallity for your character.

1. Rude

2. Nice

3. Mean

8. Happy

9. Depressed

12. Dumb

13. Forgetful

15. Proud

Everyone has a personality to them. Those are a few examples up there that I named right off the top of my head.

The rest of your character is up to you.
