Congrats!! 


1.Where did you grow up? I grew up in Auckland, the big city in a little country way down south called New Zealand. However I have recently moved to another city inside New Zealand called Napier.

2.What is the first thing you remember that perked your interest in writing? My interest in writing perked when we had to write short stories for primary/elementary school. After that I knew that I wanted to be a writer.

3.Did you go to college/university? I have not been to university as I am only 13, but I plan to go later on in life.

4.If so, what was your major? n/a

5.Outside of college, how have you educated yourself beyond secondary school? Storywrite is how I have educated myself and sharpened my writing skills. Feedback, contests, prompts, classes and friendlly members on this website have taken my writing a long way.

6.How's the weather? Well It's winter here so it is very cold, but being in Napier means that rain is rare and on some days there is so much sunshine it feels like spring.

7.What's your favorite color? My favourite color is lime green.

8.Food? Chocolate pudding/Pizza

9.Pastime? Writing, reading and being on SW.

10.Music? Pop and R&B

11. Writer? Richelle Mead and Terry Goodkind.

12. TV show? *lets floor length scroll open up* Legend of the seeker, the big bang theory, wild at heart and friends.

13.Movie? Knowning

14.Book? Vampire Acdemy series and Sword of truth series.

Info about your Writing :

1.When did you first begin to write? I began to write when I was in primary/elementry school, but began to write well when I joined SW.

2.What kind of stories do you prefer to write? I generally write short stories, but like to write un all genres. Particulary romance and fantasy.

3.Fiction or non-fiction? I write fiction.

4.Have you published anything? I have not published anything yet, but hope to start work on my new fantasy novel soon

5.What is your reaction when the muse visits? Drop everything and write it down or tuck it away in memory and write it later?
When my muse visits I drop everything to write my ideas down, or if I cannot get a pen and paper, I go into a writers panic where I say things over and over again to remember them.

6 .Do you consider yourself a spontaneous writer or do you tend to plan things out in advance? I consider myself a spontaneous writer and base my stories on ideas that my muse gives me.

7. How does reading other authors affect your writing skills?
By reading the work of other authors I see how they write and take that skill and perception and use it to further my own skills.

8. When you sit down to write something is it fun or work? When I write it is fun.

9. How do you get past writers block? Writers block is something that I usually can't controll, but get past it by searching the net for inspirational pictures that get my but into gear.

10. What feeds your desire to continue writing? My own motivation is what keeps me writing and of course the support I get from friends and family.

11.Who are your influences?My influences are authors of my favourite books. People like Terry Goodkind and amazing authors that I stumble accross on this site.

12.How do you know when your story is finished? I know when a story is finished because it feels complete to me as a reader.

General things about you

1.Hobbies? Writing, reading, swimming, dancing, playing netball and art.

2.Pets? I have two beautiful pussy cats.

3.Talents? My talent lyes in writing.

4.Jobs? I have chores, but do not have a job as of current.

5.What advice would you give to growing writers? My advice to growing writers would be to read as much as you write. The more you read the bigger your vocabulary becomes and the more skills you pick up from reading the better your writing will be.
