After being shipped halfway across the world from his home in Germany, Hansel meets the "Stupid American Boy" and wants nothing more than to get rid of him. "Das Feuer liebt mich," I muttered. "The fire loves me," I repeated in English. "The fire loved me in Germany and the fire loves me here."
She is an 18 year-old woman from Sullivan, Missouri. This is her first published book and she wrote it in three weeks, finishing three days before her seventeenth birthday.
She had been researching different publishers for quite awhile. She stumbled upon Publish America online, but she wasn't ready to send in her manuscript then. By the time she was ready, she had forgotten about Publish America until someone she knew got a book published there. Checking into it, she was immediatly accepted. The process was very easy and quick.
She began writing at a an early age. She has things she'd written in second grade. In her freshmen year of high school, she realized that writing is what she wanted to do as a livelihood. "It's what makes me happy. When you're good at something that makes you happy, why not?"
The book could fall under the genres of young adult/teen, drama, fiction, gay interest.
"I just wanted to tell everyone on and behind Storywrite.com a HUGE thanks! My first published book was released last month. I know without the help of Storywrite.com it never would've happened. I received more help and encouragement from the people on this site than every other source put together. Without the members on this site and the people who run it, I wouldn't be on my way to doing what I love for a living. So thank you very, very, very much!!"
