Star Wars Movies are Like Potato Chips,

Many questions have puzzled man kind over the years. Is there a God? What is the meaning of life? Are we alone in the universe? And should George Lucas make the third Star Wars trilogy? There are many factors to consider when debating the controversial subject of a third trilogy. The answer really is unclear but it's an important question that could indeed decide the fate of the galaxy...
Many people were turned off by the newest Star Wars trilogy. It was intended as a prequel to the original trilogy to better explain the past of Anakin Skywalker and the Galactic Empire. So many fans couldn't appreciate the new films for what they were and simply shrugged them off as a scam to leech off a past success.
A problem that several people had with Episode I was with the presence of a Gungan by the name of Jar Jar Binks. It's argued that he was only added so that the film would appeal to younger generations and and ultimately result in more ticket sales. This may be a truth but comedic relief is only to be expected and the Gungan race is quite the creative achievement that would be expected from Lucas. Plus Jar Jar was amusing though I can't really argue with his merchandise.
Rocky, Halloween, and The Land Before Time are classic examples of over done numbers of sequels. Critics may or may not include Star Wars in this list. The difference is Star Wars has a story to complete and that was part of the reasoning behind Episodes I, II, and III. Also, with a story as vast as Star War's where there is always a new question to be answered a third trilogy could be done without ruining the films' worth.
Wouldn't it be the coolest thing ever to see Harrison Ford as Han Solo in a new Star Wars movie? How about three? He's doing a new Indiana Jones movie, I think it's time he dusted off the ol' blaster. There's not a Star Wars fan alive that wouldn't be excited about that. Han Solo is by far the coolest of all the Star Wars characters. There is no one more bad ass, sexy, arrogant, and just all around cool in the Star Wars galaxy.
I think that it would be something special to have a trilogy of trilogies. That's never really been done before. There have been nine movies in a series before but not with a different story line for each set of three films. A trilogy of trilogies would be a pretty original idea and enough to make me cream my jeans.
Nobody ever really gets tired of saber battles. I mean, come on, three a.m. and we're out on the lawn with light up light sabers goin' at it. There are few things more intense than a light saber duel, except for maybe the one from Episode IV between Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi. Any Star Wars fan could be excited over more saber battles, just think about. With a new trilogy this could be a new generation of Jedi. Luke leading his students into battle against some fierce beasts deep in the deserts of Tatooine as training.
These new films could show more of the Jedi process, from youngling to master. We'd all love to learn more about the Force and how to wield it. Then that could possibly lead us down the proper path to becoming a true Jedi. These new films could actually bore us the knowledge needed to transcend reality and become Jedi knights. That'd be so bad ass!
The night of the midnight showing of Revenge of the Sith I couldn't stand that it was all over. Never again would we go to see one of our beloved Star Wars movies in theaters again. My heart was consumed with sadness and I felt sick, how could something that had been such a major part of my life for such a very long time be over. From watching Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope for the first time to going to see Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith at the midnight showing as a high school sophomore. Star Wars had almost always been there for me, it was so hard and it still is. I'd really like a third trilogy.
