Someone has to leave -
Round IV ended in one of the most spectacular display and execution of given prompt this challenge has seen, some of you really made me realize, you people have grown over this competition, each time getting better and better and better.
The winner was no brainer for the judges:
Ashes To Ashes
by lovely nightmare.
But now, the question is who will leave us?
Well - we're about to find out:
As I said, there will be twists and turns in the contest, because today:
Two people will be eliminated.
Let's start with Irish.
You gave us one heck of a story this time, a nice abstract piece that we all think clearly shows your talent, but was it enough?
Next comes Jenni-veev
You struck fine chords this time, a wonderful and emotional story.
You both:
are going to have to endure my games a bit longer. You're both safe.
That leaves us with the bottom three.
Taylor
William
Wildbluesun
Two of you are out of this game today.
Taylor: you wrote a fine story, but it was not enough to challenge the winner or come par with your own abilities.
William: your consistency has shown over the past few weeks, but, it's downed this time. You've had a rocky way, but surviving it this far means alot.
Wildbluesun: With one of the most spectacular qualification entries, we've had big expectations. You played real safe this time, but was it enough?
I am going to relieve the burden:
Talor - you are safe.
William, you've been a downright excellent contestant, each time boasting your capabilities. You've left tons of people behind that were tens and twenties of years older than you.
Wildbluesun, it's been a pleasure to read your works. You've had difficulties, hospitalization and what-not. It's been hard, your problems might have caused this. Your previous challenge didn't score so high, so everything counts.
Both of you may not be in the Semi-finals, but you are true writers and wonderful authors.
You have both earned a little ticket into the Writer's Challenge Hall of Fame.
It's been real swell.
The rest of you guys.
Lovely
Irish
Jenni
Taylor
Ladies, prepare for the semi-finals.

I just can't believe I made it through again.
Congrads to everyone. It's been so hard to compete with you guys! I love you all, and may the best lady win.
And William?
You are a remarkable writer. I don't care how old you are. You should be proud.
So should you, Wildbluesun.
And, of course, Lovely and Irish and Jenni. I'm looking forward to keeping up with you guys!
See you next round. [It's already here!]

I was kinda expecting this...
Hmm. On the one hand, it's tough being eliminated, on the other hand, lack of pressure when I'm already quite close to breaking point. And this contest gave me a chance to use second person (LSJETLHE SECOND PERSON) and put wordless fears down on paper (screen?)....plus some affirmation that I'm worth something when it seems like the world just doesn't want to know me. (And I'm rubbish at morals. XD)
It's been good; quarter-finals isn't such a bad result. Good luck to everyone who got through. <3
Question: will there ever be another Writer's Challenge? -
-
for you this elimination comes down to so many factors. the last round entry was very late. we know you've got stress and all over what you've been through. the deliberations the judges have regard every aspect, - your scores in all round plus the last one, then your writing capabilities, your driving force, your enthusiasm - everything.
yep. this was just season 1. we still have more.

Yeah...I'm sorry about the lateness. x.X I kept on putting it off and then I realised I had about two days left and couldn't get it done in time.
Yaaaaay for season 2! =D Non-hospitalised WBS will ROCK YOUR SOCKS! (With luck.)
