Hey,
First thing's first; I'm Billie and I hope you're having a nice day wherever you are. . So, I suppose I've to prattle on about myself for a bit . . . alrighty then.
I love movies. I love everything about them, I love how there's always something out there to suit whatever the hell you're into, whether it be an American chick-flick, an art-house masterpiece, a brit-grit gangster film or an Asian horror movie (personally, I find this is the best kind of horror movie you can get, they know how to scare the shit out of people) and about a hundred different genres inbetween. Love 'em.
Some of my favourites are:
Fight ClubInterview With The Vampire Switchblade Romance Pan's Labyrinth
Memento Freaks
Love Actually Princess Mononoke Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquerer of Shambala Brotherhood No.1 Gangster Dead Man's Shoes and so many others that I could go on for days talking about them
Writing fiction has always been a passion of mine, ever since I discovered M. D. Spensers collection of childrens novels called 'Shivers'. Seriously when you're ten years old and you read one of these horror stories, it did what herion did to junkies, they were addictive. Ok, so they weren't exactly brilliant but they did something to me. They inspired me to write my own fiction and gave me something to do on those rainy days when nobody would come out to play and there were no cartoons on. This newfound pass-time grew into an unstoppable passion and as I got older I learned more about writing and how it affected people. And, like my English teacher said once, "It's magical". Cheesy I know, but really, I don't think he was too far off the mark.
Anyway so yeah writing's a big deal for me, it's helped through some issues etc and generally I just love making up stuff.
A few of my idols (fictional and non-fictional) are; Roald Dahl, M. D Spenser, Dean Koontz, Quentin Tarantino, Neil Gaiman, Anne Rice, Frank Miller, Stan Lee, John McClane and lastly Catwoman.
