UPDATE: 1/13/08 I'm taking a break from SW. It frustrates me more than helps, I don't get much of what I want out of critiques, and I feel like the majority of postings are garbage (not just "some"). I'll probably be checking back in on occasion, but no more work-in-progress stories. I'll post finished stories ONLY. Thus, I'll be removing all unfinished stories and reposting them when they are finished. Ciao bellas!

DISCLAIMER: I don't hate fourteen year old females. I hate morons, who sometimes happen to be fourteen year old females. So all you idiots out there...prepare to be annihilated.

I always get great ideas for concepts and have trouble in my execution.

...this is where you come in. I need storywrite members who are willing to tell me their honest opinions on what works and what doesn't. I don't want crappy comments. I want real constructive criticism. My writing is too important to me to be disregarded.

Someone once asked me where I get my inspiration. I get it from you, from me, from my coffee, from asphalt, from doorframes, from moonlight, from walking bridges, from jack and coke, from acceleration, from conversation, from art, from Twiggy, from love, from family, from blues, from lindy hop, from tandem charleston, from paperclips, from barbeque packets, from bonfires, from parties, from roommates, from the people I love, from hummus, from the Midwest...

YES I will read yours if you read mine. And I love to criticize, so you WILL get good comments from me.

Some favorites, in case anyone wants to make some sort of connection to me.

Art: Rian Flynn, Stephanie Cain, Giotto di Bondone, Caravaggio, Banksy etc.

Music: Daft Punk, The Knife, New Buffalo, Fletcher Henderson, Louis Armstrong, The Thermals, The Gossip, Band of Horses, etc.

Writing: Nobokov, Kafka, Heller, Kerouac (thanks to Big Tuna), Alexie, Morley etc.

Film: Amelie, Everything Is Illuminated, Brick, Breakfast on Pluto, 28 Days Later, Breakfast Club, Alphaville etc.

Thanks, and stay classy.
