I love writing short stories. I'd like to write a novel, too but I don't think I have the patience to stick to it long enough anymore. I especially like writing stories for children to enjoy, either by reading them or having them read to them.
I have lots of time now that I'm retired so maybe some great stuff is waiting to get out
