boards go glitchy.

    Okay, the boards are glitching for me today. (one of the group boards anyway)

    Earlier the site ate one of my posts and just now it wouldn't let me reply to someone.

    Any info?

    Kevin has been fixing small glitches here and there, and doing an general overhaul of the background area. Unfortunately, that means little glitches occur other places. I'll let him know that the forum area is a little weird.

    ooh, now the IM buttons are being freaky. I can't get the history by clicking on the history link, nor can I reply to an IM by using the reply button.

    However, I can still IM using the dropdown and the history form on the messages page does still work.

    still, inconvenient.

      I'm not sure why it's hitting the IM page. I'll let Kevin know that there's more issues.

      It could be that the updates are good for IE7, but not 6 (or the other way), good for Firefox, but not IE, or Linux, or one of those problems. Eventually he'll get it all ironed out.

        well...the replying bit seems to back to normal...I think. I'm hoping it doesn't stop working again now.

        (if it helps, I'm using firefox.)

    It's all for the best - making SW a better place than all the other writing sites out there ...

    Still having problems with this? All known things are fixed, so keep me posted

    Does IM history work at AP but not SW for you? Or neither? Sounds like the JS on your computer isn't playing nicely possibly, but I know everyone hates to hear that I think it's on their side

      actually...it all seems to be working fine now. Whatever you did seems to have done the job.

      (which means the problem was *not* on my side since I haven't done anything to my javescript or cookies or anything.)
