Ok so one of my friends attends basically like writing lessons through mail. I went to sign up for it but it's only for people who want to write children's books. Does anyone know of something like this for people who want to write adult books and need help?

I know of one in Australia which has a whole bunch of different courses (even ones like editing courses and I think publishing courses) but it costs about $1000 for the whole thing. They send you stacks of material though - books and notes and folders and they assign you to a personal tutor based on what your interests and beliefs and stuff are.
It was called The Writing School when I first heard of it but I think it might now be called The Sackville Academy for who knows what reason.
