Double-spaced formatting

    Total uttter futility!

    I do not know why chapter two worked better.

    THREE diffrerent ways I have tried to place chapter 1 of my novel, twice painfully changing it to single-space after posting it. The third time I had the singles done before posting and it WORKED--until I named the background and font colour. It opened with a nice background and NO FORMAT at all.

    It will not be posting any more chapters. I simply have neither the time nor the patience!

    Your free new members' gold membership has expired, and this is why your format disappeared.

    If you post a story that is single spaced, keep the 'fix line spacing' box checked, as this will put a space between paragraphs and make it easier to read. It can be frustrating in the beginning, but you tend to learn the tricks as you go along.

    As a free member, the only formatting option you have is italics, and you need to use BBCode for that ( < i > italics < / i > remove the spaces)
