I think free users should get lists!

    Free users write stories too!... I can handle no rich text, or music, or pictures, but please. I need lists to combine chapters into Stories. I don't feel like paying $5 a month just for one service that I essentially need.
    Consider This.

    Good point. I reckon this should be made avaliable .. but if you get a single one month membership, sliver, and create whatever lists you want - then it will remain even after your sliver expires.
    That's what happened to me.

    Take lists away from those that have a paid membership, and that's one less thing they get for their money. It may seem unfair that free members don't get lists, but it would be completely unfair to take away something that people chose to pay for and give it to others at no cost.

    A lot of people link to the next chapter in the author notes, directing the person to the next installment.

    Or, you could comment on a lot of stories (over 100 characters per comment, no spamming or silly generic comments that makes it look like you never bothered to read), and if you make the most in one day, you win a week's gold membership... or, second most wins a week's silver. (An SW day starts around 2... site time... which can be found on the 'Help' page).

      have a free silver

      So, I have one - but it wont allow me to make lists! I decided to do just what you, barbara, proposed but it doesn't allow me that.

      Do I just need to wait for the settings to soak in? Like, maybe my entire profile needs to realize I have a silver membership?

        Sometimes it takes time to kick in. You coul dtry dumping your computer's temporary internet files, and cookies , then log back in and see if that works.
