This is my teacher's book, The Hanging Woods by Scott Loring Sanders.
It's a murder mystery for teens pretty much, though I haven't read past the first few pages yet
(I've got another book to finish first)
I got a signed copy last night

And the jacket art is good. When I'm published, I want this 'Greg Spalenka' guy.

Sweet, but check out that graphic with the magnifying glass!
What an awesome idea. (I'm such a sucker for texture.) -

Try this one. Just click the "View Larger Image" link:
The Hanging Woods
I had to embed the link 'cause it was huuuuuge! -

That's one creepy cool picture.

I thought you meant the pic was too small... but now I see that you meant the picture with the magnifying glass was the first page

I just checked, and from that, the only thing he changed was the commas. Oh, and he didn't indent the first paragraph

Haha, yeah that's what I meant, but that larger image of the artwork shows it's richness much more clearly. It really is a nice illustration.
I want to publish a novelty book with the editing marks still on the pages...but it's all been done before, hasn't it? -
That book looks WAY good. I read a little bit of the excerpt on Amazon and I plan on buying it.
The cover is completely awesome. And yay for you to get a signed copy, GuitarShank! It's always cool to have teachers who are writers, although the teacher I bought and then signed a book for wasn't my actual teacher...
He still hasn't got the second one of his books out, even though he said it'd be out in 2007. -_-
