I have published through Lulu.com my CD, "One More Time, America". There are 21 songs: Country, rock, soft rock, and pop. There are a variety of vocalists, myself included. You can sample the preview song, 'Why Should I Cry?' performed by Steve Swim.
You can also self publish books through Lulu.com.

Congrats on publishing! I've published books through there, but I've never known anyone that's done a CD. Was it easy?
(On your 'My Account' page, there is a link to publishing at lulu.com.) -

Thanks
I suspect it is similar to publishing a book. I first uploaded WMA files and had to change them to mp3 files. Other than that it went pretty smoothly. Paul supplied the art.
I discovered Lulu through the link at Storywrite.

Cool
im writing a story at the minute thats on this site calld Rogan Thomas dreams for the future i have no were near finished but when i do i will be looking for some good agents -
I was published last year through a Baltimore-based company, but I didn't pay for it. Mostly you can order my book (The ShadowStalker) on Amazon or Barnes and Noble.com, but I would love to go mainstream and be a "real" writer with an agent.

Publishing books through LuLu ... isn't that free?

-
Yeah.

I have a question. How great is Lulu.com? I've heard self-publishing isn't a good way to go as an author.

I've heard from an author I talked to a while back, through his personal experience, that if you self publish a book most publishing agencies wont even review it, let alone consider publishing it. This guy was crazy determinded... in fact, I think Im going to go write about him in my profile now. Hes a good example of how if you dont give up, amazing things can happen.
