Uh... I thought this was against the rules?

    I thought it was against the rules to say if you got a certain thing published? I'm not sure, but you say that typing the name of another work is technically considered promoting and is against the rules?

    Please clarify on this.

    Apparently you can mention stories you have published outside SW, but I think you can only do it in this section of the forums.

    Correct.

    This published forum was just added a few weeks ago, due to the request of many members.

    There was a grey area where members wanted to talk about links dealing with getting published and works they had for sale.

    In this published forum (the one you are in right now) you can post links to sites that deal with publishing and aid writers. You can also post links stories you have published.

    The only thing you can't post here is links to promote stories you have in progress on this site.

    I hope that clears things up.


    Jimmy is right! Sorry about the confusion ... not all is back and white ... would make my job easier if it was.


    I need to write a column clarifying everything on StoryWrite - I think it would help bunches.
