American Patriots Invade London, whaaaat?

    I'm watching the Patriots-Buccaneers game in London right now. I think that's pretty cool. The crowd are being amazing. (Yes, it's a British crowd. )

    Is that field normally used for soccer games? Anyone else watching/there?

    One of the few times I was rooting for those loser Bucs.
    I saw bits and pieces of it. Do you know why they were playing in London?

    Wembley Stadium - home of the England football (soccer) team. Its the national stadium used for most of the international matches.

    This is the third season there's been an NFL game played at Wembley (all with sell out crowds):

    In 2007 NY Giants beat the Dolphins 13 - 10 and last year New Orleans beat San Diego 37 - 32.

    I have no idea why they play one game a year in London
