Does anyone else feel a bit insicure that all a person needs to do is drag a mouse and press one button to have their work coppied?
What I thought is that you might be able to lock (diont know what it is but other websites do it so you cant copy + paste...) the web page so people cant copy work
Just a suggestion because I am sure other people would feel safer with it to

Regardless of what sites do to stop theft, people can still copy a page... even without copy and paste (I know three other ways to copy from a site). Having a false sense of security wouldn't do anyone any good, really. If someone is intent on stealing, then there's nothing that would stop them. One of the best ways to protect yourself from online theft is to not post anything... buuuuut... you're here to post, so that would be a moot point, really.
When something is posted to the site (or even anywhere on the internet), it become copyrighted to you. On Storywrite, we have a © , and the posted date on your work which is very helpful if someone were to steal your work and try to pass it off as their own. We don't take kindly to plagiarists on the Social Design sites, and when found or reported, are dealt with ASAP.
On your 'My Account' area, in '•Edit author or display info', there is a 'Only let registered users view stories' option that you can check that would greatly limit the people that can view your story. That way, not everyone on the internet can view it. Also, adding 'Noguest' to your categories will keep non-site members away. Placing all stories under adult will limit viewing to site members 15 and above.
