I just accidentaly clicked something and it erased my whole story I just spent 35 minutes on! Does anyone know anything that could help me?

Save your work often, and try not to click places

Check your drafts and see if it saved something there.
Under My Page, there's a Drafts on the dropdown. Maybe you'll get lucky. -
Okayyy... since she hasn't dropped her suggestion (like I told her to
), I will do it
I helped her with this earlier. She lost whatever it was she was writing from the drafts when she accidently clicked something, checked her drafts, it wasn't there.
Anyways, Crazy7Chick privately suggested to me that like with the featured stories that perhaps there should be a pop-up box asking, "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page" if say you accidently hit your back button or something when you are on your 'add story' page when typing up a story... and well, I said that was a wonderful suggestion!
So, I'm placing it up!

The whole point is - write at home on your own word processor! Upload it here into Draft, then you can, if you wish, enter it as a new story in a contest, or you can have items stashed ready which you can use when you run out of inspiration.
Be smart, be careful and always be one jump ahead.
What if the site went down through no fault of Kevin's and you lost your deathly, literary prose?
If you haven't got it at home - you haven't got it.

I said that as well. And I also write everything from my own word document first, then copy & paste onto SW when it's finished.

However, there are some people who can't always do that. Some who are only able to use school/library computers (and don't have computers at home) and have to type up directly to the website. Yes, I actually know people in this day and age who don't own a computer. So, I do like to think about them also.
