Poll: At what age did you discover your 'love' for writing?

I've liked to write ever since I was 8, when I wrote a poem about my grandma having to stay in a chair because she broke her collar bone. I started writing all kinds of things. Like a story about a girl who became friends with a cyclops. That one was cute. I think I still have it somewhere...

I was lickle. But I only started properly writing when I was about 10/11.

I was about 9 or 10. The book "Eragon" really inspired me to write. It also influenced my writing. When I first began to write, my writings were much like the way Christopher Paolini,the author of "Eragon," writes. Eventually I began to develop my own style, but I do reread "Eragon" sometimes, because I liked writing that way. I suppose my writing has really changed since way back then...like, two or three years ago, x]

Ever since I could hold a pencil, my dad tought me how to come up with millions of ideas for any type of writing.

I always enjoyed story writing but it wasn't utill I was about 15 or 16 when I started to write a lot.
