Stories you might enjoy

Is it possible to add a program similar to the one found on netflix? You can click how many stars you would rate a story or whether or not you're even interested in it and the site can update this list accordingly. Right now it looks just like the all-time popular list and no offense to Andy or Gary but I've read their stuff and I'm sure there are other people on here who write stories.
Making this list a little more 'stream-lined' can bring readers and writers, who have never crossed paths before, together. I know it would probably take a butt-load of computer wizardry and know how but I think it'd be worth it.

I've always wondered how that link is suppose to work.
Every time I've clicked it, half or more of the stories listed are ones I've already read. Kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think? You're trying to find new stories you haven't seen before.
I don't even bother with it anymore. *shrugs*

I had never even bothered clicking on it until reading this post... and when I did, I saw that pretty much every story on my list I've already read (most I've commented on, too) also. So, yeah, maybe it'd be nice to have a different kind of system for the list.

I'd love to see this implemented. Granted, it would probably take a lot of work, and I don't know when it could feasibly be up and running, but...sometime down the road, this would be a great change. When I first joined SW, I used to click that link rather eagerly - until I realized that it was showing me more or less the same stories over and over again, not to mention only a handful of authors. No offense to any of the writers whose works are up there, because they've clearly earned their popularity, but I'd like to see some more variety in that list.

    This feature does actually exist

If you click on "my account" and scroll down a few lines there is actually a link that reads "I might enjoy" and from there will link you accordingly

You might want to have that link checked as well. I think there's a glitch. I just tried it twice and I'd already read every story listed. Five of them were even my own stories!

That's exactly the link I'm talking about.
It needs some work as Abstract Muse pointed out. It's not a glitch.

Hey, so I clicked on the link to see what mine said. I've read all but a handful of the stories, as I expected from what you guys said.

But I saw this on them all: Shared: 10, Shared: 11, Shared: 9

What's that referring to? Stories we and the writer have both read? Or people who have commented on a story by both of us? Something else? It would be cool if the system could check that we've commented on a story before adding it to this list. Otherwise, it's a cool feature.
