Well, I have written a book called Love you to Death and its about... 30,000 words long (about 170-180 book A5 pages so it could be made into a paperback book or something?)I also made a sequal book - Shadowed - which is 35,000 words so far - need to finish the last few chapters. Anyway, I live in London so there is probably LOADS of publishers here, but because I am 14 I find it kind of hard on getting peoples attention...

    Any advice?

You can always self-publish. Lulu.com is recommended by some of the people here on SW.

Or you can look for publishers on sites like ralan.com or duotrope.com. I like duotrope for its search function on the front page; just put in what your story is like and it will find the publishers that may consider it.

I think many places won't accept works from writers who aren't legally adults, or they may need a parent/guardian in on the mix.

Where you send it depends on whether you want it published to get your name out there, or published for money. Most publishers who pay are very strict on what they take. Those that don't have to pay you anything are much more likely to print your novellas.

    Good luck.

    You have "WROTE" a book?

    30,000 words or..."SUMMING?"
And you find it "KINA" hard "GETTINE" attention?
    Gee...I wonder why.
You might spend some time on reading and spelling.
    I recommend square one.

Never Self-Publish, Publishing a Book shouldn't cost ANY Money, For You. Only the publisher!

I kind of disagree. A lot of genres are unfairly judged by agents and publishers because it might seem "commercial" at first glance. Why do you think so MANY writers who are now famed authors began self-published at first? In fact, some agents like it if you say you have experience with publishing this way. They might even realize yoru book is getting attention and take you on as a client.

I'd recommend trying to write a query letter to an agent because a lot of publishers own't take unsolicited writers.

Check AgentQuery.com or better, 1000literaryagents.com (check this on Google because I'm not certain).
