I just discovered that I'm one of the honorable mentions in a flash-fiction contest a local paper held a few weeks ago, all of which they are putting in today's paper. So as of this morning, I'm technically "in print"
My only regret is the fact that the contest had a limit of 100-words, so they are displaying the sad and miserly version of the story 
(the expanded version clocked in at about 350 words).
But hey, printed is printed. =) -
