Ok I figure before one can publish a book, it'd be better to get published in a magazine to show you can sell. Unfortunately, finding magazines to sell fiction to isn't easy. I'm looking for print magazines but most of these list webzines and other things too.
I looked through Preditors & Editors (which unfortunately don't have a lot that aren't dead links) and writersmarket.com you have to pay for. There's a couple other websites you guys have mentioned in various other threads that I still have to look through, but I was wondering if we could collect them all in one place so it'd be easy to find for others.
Please let us know of your experience with any of these sites.
Here's the ones I found in other threads;

heh
i'm not sure there are that many print magazines to find.
theres a fair few ezines that pay pro rates (5c / word) though, so its still a worthwhile credit. -
Duotrope is fantastic beyond belief. Ralan is also wonderful, just not as easy to search.
Oddities, you clearly haven't done your research. "Not that many print magazines" to find? Really? -
Ogawd, braingasm at Duotrope.
*faints in ecstasy*
edit: saw this on Duotrope's Notes to Writers page (SoundInkMusic
