Alright, I have never seen a story on here with sticky caps. Know where I can read some? I want to try. Yeah. I'm that psycho, apperently.

LoL. I have often wondered why that rule ends up in so many contest write ups. I haven't seen them in any stories either. In fact I haven't really seen them all that often in poetry. Ooo maybe they have gone extinct. Killed off by too many contest rules breeding other rules and choking the sticky caps out of existence.

I would have bigger carpal tunnel problems constantly having to push the shift button every other letter.
Noooo thank youuu haha -
I hate writing in sticky caps--reading it or doing it. It takes away from the otherwise good writing that could have been enjoyed in a story.
On the other hand if the story is bad to begin with then maybe, the sticky caps disguises that fact.

I don't even understand why people would do it in a story. I was surprised when I first came on SW and all the competitions had that rule.
-
I've never seen a story that uses it. It seems too rare to ban in contest rules. I think it's a teen-culture phenomenon here. It's morphed into "do not molest the shift key" in the last couple months.

that's true.
I remember seeing a contest, ages ago, actually asking for it. They wanted stories that were so awful that they...well I'm not really sure what the reason was, but that was the contest. Lots of brightly colored backgrounds flashing with nEoN wOrDs. It was trippy *insert smiley w/glowsticks* -
I've seen people on other sites use that sort of writing. I think most people on SW have gotten any desire to use sticky caps beaten out of them, because everyone is always warning against it.

I could see that some people do it to amuse themselves but, really who's that bored?
