(I could not find some of the songs. Let me know of any errors.)

For the rules... basically, someone posts a part of a song - be it a verse, the chorus, or just a line - and someone has to figure out what the song is.

Whoever gets it first gets to post the next line of a song for someone to figure out.

Simple, right? Well, here are some tips/stipulations:
•Keep it simple - don't start giving a line that could be used in any old song, and try to use songs that most people here should have heard by now. Don't use a song from a band that you 'just found on MySpace and thought they were so cool!'
•I shouldn't have to mention this, but... don't use the title of the song if it's in the lyrics.
•Please don't post the entire song... keep your posts short, 'kay?
•You can use hints if you think it's necessary.
Please don't use any rap songs. They're nothing more than rhythmic monologues about *bunny*s and more *bunny*s
•This should be obvious... but DON'T CHEAT! Of course, we have no way of telling (or do we? ) but where's the satisfaction in getting it right if you had to look up the lyrics to give the right answer?
•If a song goes a week without being guessed, it's fair game for anyone to add a different song

I'm hoping this will catch on as a way to pass a few minutes of our day, so keep it going

  • OK. It's been about a month now so that was Poison - Something to Believe in.

So let's get this party started again. Here's an easy one to get the ball rolling:

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow,
    Don't be alarmed now.
It's just a spring clean for the May-Queen.
Yes there are two paths you can go by,
    But in the long run.
There's still time to change the road your on.

Stairway to Heaven, anybody ever played it backwards?

Now, here's something by the greatest band ever:

'Oh oh people of the earth
    Listen to the warning
    The prophet he said
For soon the cold of night will fall
    Summoned by your own hand!'

    Time's up

It's been a week. Here's a pretty easy one. I'll give you the chorus.

    I love you, baby,
    And if it's quite alright,
    I need you, baby,
    To warm a lonely night.
    I love you, baby.
Trust in me when I say:
    Oh, pretty baby,
Don't bring me down, I pray.
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby.
    Let me love you.

Kool. Though I'm not sure my song has been heard... I'll give it a go anyway.

          Who's to say
          I can't do everything
          Well I can try
And as I roll along I begin to find
Things aren't always just what they seem

(can we tell what the song is after?)

Through early morning fog I see
visions of the things to be
