(I could not find some of the songs. Let me know of any errors.)
For the rules... basically, someone posts a part of a song - be it a verse, the chorus, or just a line - and someone has to figure out what the song is.
Whoever gets it first gets to post the next line of a song for someone to figure out.
Simple, right? Well, here are some tips/stipulations:
•Keep it simple - don't start giving a line that could be used in any old song, and try to use songs that most people here should have heard by now. Don't use a song from a band that you 'just found on MySpace and thought they were so cool!'
•I shouldn't have to mention this, but... don't use the title of the song if it's in the lyrics.
•Please don't post the entire song... keep your posts short, 'kay?
•You can use hints if you think it's necessary.
•
Please don't use any rap songs. They're nothing more than rhythmic monologues about *bunny*s and more *bunny*s
•This should be obvious... but DON'T CHEAT! Of course, we have no way of telling (or do we?
) but where's the satisfaction in getting it right if you had to look up the lyrics to give the right answer?
•If a song goes a week without being guessed, it's fair game for anyone to add a different song
I'm hoping this will catch on as a way to pass a few minutes of our day, so keep it going

New clue
Too-ra-loo-ra, too-ra-loo-rye, aye
And you'll hum this tune forever
-
I answered to Jack's hint...
-
Love this video...
Mmmm to the left, to the left
Everything you own in the box to the left
In the closet, that's my stuff
Yes, if I bought it, baby, please don't touch
-
It's almost a week.Come on!Nobody knows it?
Last hint: It is sang by a symphonic rock band. -
I KNOW IT
ITS THE POET AND THE PENDULUM-THE END

SHUT UP AND PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR---- GET UP AND SHAKE THE GLITTER OFF YOUR CLOTHES NOW THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR---- -
easy one
There are stars
In the southern sky
Southward as you go
There is moonlight
And moss in the trees -
-
That's Southern Cross, right?
Edit: Nevermind, I looked it up. I had a good one too
-
Bonus lyrics!!!
(previously posted)
There are stars
In the southern sky
Southward as you go
There is moonlight
And moss in the trees
(Bonus!)
Now I have loved you like a baby
Like some lonesome child
And I have loved you in a tame way
And I have loved you wild
-
-
I give up, plus it's been over a week. New lyrics.

Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you
-
And the sky was made of amethyst
And all the stars look just like little fish
You should learn when to go
You should learn how to say no
-
No one else has tried yet? Ok.
Come Together by The Beatles
Here's something different:
Are you for real? It's so hard to tell
From just a magazine
Yeah, you just smile and the picture sells
Look what that does to me
-
Nothing yet?
Here's the next verse
"I'll wait, till your love comes down
I'm coming straight for your heart
No way, you can stop me now
As fine as you are"
-
Come on guys! I thought this would be easy. *scratches head*
Last clue: The title is in the second verse posted. It's the chorus. -
-
It's by Genesis... I know that much...
Still can't think of the song. -
-
Sorry. Wrong music genre.
Think rock guitar(ist).
It's still a band though. *wink,wink, nudge,nudge*
-
-
I replied up there ^

-
easy one!
I drive by the homeless sleeping on a cold dark street
Like bodies in an open grave
Underneath the broken old neon sign
That used to read jesus saves
-
-
Man! I recognize those words, but I'm clueless from there.
I'm gonna kick myself in the butt when someone gets it.
Which isn't an easy thing to do, you know. Kicking yourself in the butt.
-
ANOTHER HINT
previous hint
I drive by the homeless sleeping on a cold dark street
Like bodies in an open grave
Underneath the broken old neon sign
That used to read jesus saves
(current hint)
Will I see him on the tv
Preachin bout the promised land
He tells me to believe in jesus
And steals the money from my hand
-
and the look on... the singer's face....
