A Local Legend or Stereotype
My most successful and fulfilling journalism story was one I wrote in high school. I listened as teachers and students mentioned a syndrome that is connected to the county in which I lived. Everyone seemed to have something to say about it, whether they agreed or disagreed with this local stereotype.
Think of a local legend or stereotype that exists where you live. If the contest requires getting comments from other people, then you shouldn't have any problems.
