I'm sorry but what is up with this?
It does not let you directly reply to notes left. You have to send a message in a different page now. Why is that?
This could make it confusing to the respondent you are replying to.
I don't like this change myself.
Anyone else have a thought? -
except when do you actually reply to a note?
-
-
I use that little function when a big group conversation is going on. It's quite handy actually
-
-
except...when you hit reply, the reply goes to the originator of the note rather than the whole group.
-
-
I actually respond to most of them.
Thanks for asking.
Aside from friends, many of them lately have been people asking me to read and comment on or edit their stories.
This change puts a quirk in the flow and I don't appreciate it.
It makes things more difficult all around and I think it unnecessary.
I've heard others complain as well (no names said), but I'm sure you'll hear others make comments, here or in AP.
Thanks for asking about it. It shows you guys are listening.
-
-
but that's messages, isn't it?
and the messages still have the reply button. -
-
Yes, the messages still have the reply button. Messages are fine.
I'm talking about notes. I'm getting more notes than messages lately and now there is no reply button for notes.
Evidently you guys don't get notes or you would know what I'm talking about.
That's where I get a lot of my questions. It's just fusturating(sp) not being able to reply directly back. -
-
hmm..or maybe I don't get the same kind of notes that you do...
-
-
Hmm,..I'm sure your notes are more interesting than mine...
So where were we?
Oh yeah, ..notes. *chuckles*
I just find it strange that Kevin should change the format of the notes all of the sudden like that. It seems to complicate things.
It's not a big deal really, just changes things around a bit. I'm just wary of sudden changes I guess. *looks around room*
I'll get use to it eventually. *grumbles*
-
-
well, he's made a lot of little changes quite recently. I suppose in the next little while we'll see what sticks and what doesn't.
I wouldn't worry about it too much

I just noticed another flaw in the works here.
Before if you noticed a mistake or wanted to add something after posting a note you could edit it.
Now once posted it's written in stone. You can't change anything.
I'm sure that's not a big thing to most of you. I'm just sayin'.
-
-
Big thing for me though. For some reason I see typos after they arrive, posted on screen. The only time to make corrections now is before it is sent.
You'd be surprised what hides under that stone!

Terry -
You never could edit a note. You could edit a comment made to someone, but the note they got would have remained the same as when first sent.
-
-
Really? Editing a note never changed what originally went through? Hmm.
So there are people out there that thought I was kinda weird.
Though if they knew me then they knew that was normal.

*Yoshi calls the men with the white coats and sends them to Abstract's house*

Men in white coats? Great! They must be the caterers for the party. They're late.

Yoshi never foresaw that response coming ... note to self ... get better at closing loopholes.
