I found this site through Allpoetry. I am a decent poet *not meaning to sound full of myself or my abilities*, but I am not sure if I can write stories. I am here to test the waters so to speak. Don't be afraid to tell me you don't like something I wrote; it won't hurt my feelings. What will hurt is if you don't tell me WHAT you didn't like. Mostly I am here to improve myself, but it is difficult to do so if I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I hope you enjoy what you read here

To the few of those that read my work, I apologize for my recent absence. Between working eight hours a day and coming home to care for my daughter *who is now six months old and can stand in her playpen already*, I am usually too exhausted to even think of writing. Next month there will be a singing contest. It is a ten minute drive from my house and it is open to anyone 18 and older. I know singing has nothing to do with writing, but since it IS a form of expression, I thought I'd mention it here.
