You must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all. Thoreau said, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation." Don't be resigned to that. Break out!
-- John Keating (Dead Poets Society)
Well, I've finally started writing again. You may notice that I've re-named some things - I took a look at the "Riley's Notebook" series and decided it hadn't gone in the right direction.. so I've kept pages 1 and 2 and changed page 4 to page 3, if you can make sense of that. I've kept everything else I've written, just renamed it. It wasn't feeling Riley-esque.. or as Paul said jokingly "Riley had an epiphany and grew up overnight". The tone of the pieces weren't right for the character I'm trying to capture, so I've made the necessary adjustments and we'll see what happens

What happens when you're stuck in no man's land with nowhere to go?
