I am a soon-to-be 49 year old woman. Until recently, I worked as a medical secretary. I am now a stay-at-home mom and absolutely loving it for the moment. I have two children, though only one lives with me. My son is seven and in the second grade. My daughter is thirty and is married with four children of her own. I've had lots of ups and downs in my life and I find writing to be great therapy for me. My husband is my best friend and I'm pretty happy these days. That's me in nutshell.

My Username is -Syren- and everyone on the site simply calls me Brooke. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.

This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. 1. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
