I live in NW MN in the Red River Valley, 60 miles from the Canadian border. Currently undergoing a mediated divorce, which should be finale in Jan, 2010.
When not writing I serve as an interim pastor in the ELCA, currently serving the NW MN Synod in Warren, MN...sixty miles from Canada!
I have published numerous short stories, satires, articles, and commentary in The Santa Fe New Mexican, bereavement magazine, The Denver Post, The Broomfield Enterprise, The High Plains Reader, the Grand Forks Herald, and The Lutheran magazine.
My short nonfiction piece, "The Lie", was published in the men's literary journal, "Fire Ring Voices" by Bemidji State University. My fiction novel "Pretending" was accepted for publication by the small press, NF Publishing. Alas, they went belly up!
An old folkie at heart, I can still be found playing my guitar and singing at local venues, charitable causes, and sometimes, campsites.

My Username is DevilDoll and everyone on the site simply calls me Becca. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.
You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the membership expires and you become a regular member.
I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site.
