| The bombs fall around my ears as I run with my sister through the mine fields, my burning feet pounding the earth as I pray we can dodge all the mines. This seems near impossible as love ones are lost to the land mines left, right and centre of us. Lord, let us make it through. | |
| I prayed those words like a mantron. Over and over. And that ended up as my last few thoughts with her,my sister and now this. My feet hurts. All are feet must hurt. But, what hurts the most right now is the lost of everything. The full weight of this war will kill everyone. | |
| And here I lay dead on the ground looking up into the grey smoke filled skies. |
