Well I don't really know what to say here. I guess I am a writer. I sway back and fourth between feeling like I am a horrible writer and then feeling like I am a great writer I just need some editing to get me on my feet!
I believe that most writers here are really good at what they do. Many of you have a passion, you enjoy writing that's why you're here (I think). And for those people I believe that if this is something you want to pursue beyond hobbies that you should always work to hone your skills. Read about how to write, and how to be a better writer. Read books that you love and ask yourself what about their writing style did you love! We just have to keep working on it.
As for me I was told once that my short pieces, and my poetry was something I was naturally really good at. My novels the longer pieces weren't something I could immediately put out there. (I'm new at short stories, The Fruit Basket being my first which is not the same as my short pieces/vignettes). I also like to write little short (vignettes)/scenes and poetry that can exist independent of each other but can also form a whole story. However right now it's my novels I want to focus on the most.
My novels are the main pieces I want to share, short stories and poetry which all have meaning would come later for me. I know that I have great ideas. But I also know that my writing needs editing, and there are places where I can rephrase, and dialog that can be cut out. I've spent 1 year or more working on several pieces of mine just trying to edit without help.
I struggle to read a lot of novels 'online', and so I am sure that is how people will approach my novels if they ever came across them. I don't know if I will get any feedback here or anywhere else other than doing what I have been doing. Combing and Revising my work by reading through and editing it, putting it aside for a while, saving a previous draft, and then combing and revising it again. So what I do post here will be constantly revised just on it's own. And if someone happens to look passed it
.
I also no longer believe in the publishing companies. They select and choose who gets what based on money not on what it's good. On commercial fiction, that's what people want. But the rare gems that are just as good...you have to work a little bit harder.
I enjoy book binding which is what I'd like to do someday. If I ever get the chance I'd love to become a bookbinding company that starts out by hand, making my own paper and books. (LoL don't know if I'll ever get around to that). Most importantly if I can ever make my writing 'good' enough to be read by others in published format. I want to make them available through a website and through e-books. And maybe in places where there are no internet access, through books that require paper. I don't want to get paid for doing what I love, I just want to be great at what I do, and I want people to want to read what I write. And most of all I want people to have access to it freely (just as long as they give me credit for it lol!). I'll find a way to support myself by doing other things that I love just as much like conserving wildlife etc. but in the area of my writing. I just hope to touch someone's heart with a story.
So! If anyone here has any ideas to help me edit/revise any of my novels, I'd love for that feedback! If not then I will just continue combing through it the old fashioned slow and tedious way lol.

People invented a heaven because they wanted to believe there was something more in this life. They needed a code a way of living that could guarantee them that spot because they didn't feel that on it's own they just 'deserved it'. They came up with the idea of hell to justify, or to feel that all those people who h

Vincent Van Soup : (: on June 17Thanks for the comment, I'm not good at writing much, I just felt like writing about Jack the Ripper, who I based it off of. the story was his first killing, and I don't know if I should go on with it to his other ones, but thank you so much for the comment.
if you think I should go on, I can, I never do anything. :3
