My name is Emily.
I love to write. I've been writing stuff ever since I was pretty small, and I probably will write stuff for the rest of my life. I have many poems on allpoetry and I can generally write poems at the drop of a hat. However, a lot of ideas for stories just pop into my head and never actually get written down. It's sort of like a process of elimination. The ideas that don't go away and won't leave my head eventually get written down, even if I have to force myself (though my pieces come out better when I don't).
I mainly have 2 stories I'm working on here at storywrite. The first is The People I'd Die For which is about 4 close friends in their senior year of high school on the brink of enormous changes in their lives. Ironically, I started this when I was only 13 but I am now a senior in high school, on the brink of enormous change in my life. What I wrote in this story actually is seeming to be more and more like a prophecy of my life that I personally wrote... 0.o I actually started writing the story around what's supposed to be the end. In other words, I haven't written a beginning or middle to The People I'd Die For. But once I finish the end, I'll start on the beginning and work my way up! Heh heh... Either way, some people may be able to relate to it, and I always love comments or critiques.
The second is a vampire story called From Stone To Ashes. This one I DID start from the beginning, but I only have two parts to it as of now. In this story you'll find the tale of Zachary, a vampire who longs to have back the power and immunity he once had due to a certain mystical gem. Now he knows where it is, but a certain woman is standing in the way...
I also have some random short stories here and there, mostly humanistic in nature and dealing with perils and decisions. I have some ideas for more stories floating around in my head, and hopefully I'll write them sooner than later.
Comments and critiques are always appreciated.
