Hi,wickedruby1 on Story Write. I write on a number of subjects from reality to fantasy. Reincarnation is my favorite story line as well as stories of growing up on a farm after the Great Depression and before WW2.We were very poor but I didn't know it. I had parents, grand parents, aunts and uncles to make my life rich. We went to church and had family party's every week end. My family loved music as I still do. All the men played a musical instrument and every one sang, even danced some. We made up half the church congregation.
I wasn't allowed to write when I was a kid, my daddy was very strict and said writing was the devils work. Mother went through my things and showed daddy anything she found.I had no privacy until I was almost grown and went to live with my grandmother. She thought everything I did was alright.
I am a wife, mother of three, grandmother of five and greatgrand of three. I spent my life trying to do right by my family and to let them live their lives as they wished, to some extent.
Writing is my asylum since my husband suffered three strokes in one year ago. My time is not my own anymore.I was a nurse for thirty years and leared some independence.I have no formal training in writig so what you see is all I have to offer. It's been a long time since 1956.
I am a published author in the USA as well as International,Poet
Laureate,Expert,Judge Advocate,Member of the International Library Of Poets,Outstanding Poetry Award by the International Society Of Poets.
