My name is Ruth. I'm 20 years old, mommy to a beautiful baby boy, and engaged to the person that to me is the most amazing and wonderful of all. Blaize is my heart and soul and he keeps me sane when I feel like all I want to do is cry or go ballistic.

I became a "writer" at about 8 years old, at least, that's when I finished my first short story. It was a fanfiction/parody of Anne McCaffrey's The Smallest Dragonboy. The only people I allowed to even read it were my parents and my Louisiana History teacher. They said it wasn't too bad, but I know it needed a lot of work. But that's what makes us all writers. The diligence to keep hard at work no matter what the strife we're in.
