Hullo, everyone. My name is Neko-chan. I live in Florida, lovely sunny Florida. I like the beach; I try to go there often. I am sixteen, and a junior in highschool. I play clarinet in the marching band and concert band, but am also able to play bass clarinet, oboe, and tenor saxophone. Let's see, I love my cats, Katcher, Monkey, Lumpy, and Tater Tot. They are crazy. I also have a dog, Sadie, who likes to run into walls.
I love to read. My latest fascinations are the Twilight saga, the Warrior cats series, the Seekers series, and the House of Night series. I also like manga. A few that I read are Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Kille Me Kiss Me, Naruto, and Vampire Knight.
I like anime shows, too. Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, and Naruto are pretty awesome to watch. I like to watch the Disney Channel, even if I am a teenager. I also like CSI:, CSI: Miami, and House.
Favorite movies? Wow. So many movies. I like anything related to Inuyasha. Also, the Lion King and Lion King 2. Brother Bear. The Harry Potter movies. And the upcoming Twilight movie. I can't wait.

Welcome to the StoryWrite website!
My username is SageSyren but most people just call me Syren or Brooke. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write and hopefully become a published author sometime in the future. It is also a place to sharpen your writing skills and display your creativity while being in a fun environment!
You will notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After approximately three days, the gold membership expires, so take the opportunity to see all that our site offers to you.
We have a new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works:

Most Storywrite members belong to groups to help them improve their writing skills, to socialize, talk about common interests or otherwise interact with other people of like mind.
