About Me: Hi, I'm Suze. I'm 25 and read and write avidly. Aside from writing and writing, I enjoy cross stitching, attending rock gigs (local and national), watching movies and playing my guitar.
I love writing short stories and am currently working on two novels. I have a passion for history, long haired guitarists, rock music, bags, Single Malt Scotch, Converse All-Stars, Scotland and the Scots, chocolate, red wine and pizza.
This Year: 2008 has been a year of ups and downs for me, but so far I've run the Race for Life back in June and it was a fantastic experience. I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination and I can hardly be considered sporty, but I took part to raise money in memory of my uncle. I managed to raise about £200 which was matched by my firm to create a decent £500. It was such an amazing experience to be a part of and I thoroughly enjoyed myself completing the 5k in just under 45 minutes which I thought was pretty good going! I've also started learning to play the guitar and have a goregous Aria Parlour accoustic. I changed my job role back in August and now work as a Learning & Development Assistant, helping to organise and run courses for lawyers. I love my job even if it does keep me very busy.

My Username is -ice wolf- and everyone on the site simply calls me ice or Ruby. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.
You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the membership expires and you become a regular member.
I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. 1. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
Along with a new members group we have a New Members Contest. http://storywrite.com/contest/3429

I have include below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site. There are some very helpful and entertaining columns on the home page.
