TITLEHERE

I am an American airman.  I am a warrior.  I have answered my nation's call.  I am an American airman.  My mission is to fly, fight, and win.  I am faithful to a proud heritage, a tradition of honor, and a legacy of valor.  I am an American airman, guardian of freedom and justice, my nation's sword and shield, its sentry and avenger.  I defend my country with my life.  I am an American airman: wingman, leader, warrior.  I will never leave an airman behind, I will not falter, and I will not fail.

I am in the United States Air Force.  To join the military has been a long time calling of mine, in my heart since I was a child.  I don't do it for the money, I don't do it for the glory.  I don't have to wonder if I would give my life.  I know I would.  I do not live for regrets...  Life is too short for that.

Some don't understand, and they won't, and I don't completely get it myself.  All I know is, this country is my home, no matter how fucked up it gets.  It's people, the history...  It's all here, and people need to learn to see it.  It's laying under the surface, dormant, but not dead.  The proof is in the hearts of those who fight on the front lines, giving their lives for freedom, and those who want to be free.  We fight for you all, and we fight proudly.

I may be waiting to go to BMT, but I know where my path is leading me.  Do you know yours?  It's not as crystal clear as we all seem to think it is.  I thought mine was to settle down with my high school love, and watch over my family.  But, after I left him, I realized that, though I do love him with all my heart, there is something else calling me.  It's a gut deep, instinctual pull, like my call to Wicca and horses.

So I have this to say to all my fellow Americans...  If you can't stand behind us, feel free to stand in front of us.  If it wasn't for us, putting our lives on the line for you, you wouldn't have half of the stuff you do now.

I support our troops.  Do you?
