Hello. I'm waldo. A little about me:
I write mostly descriptive character studies (Tattered flag, Regarding Sunday) and short dramas(Saying Goodbye to Alex, The Longwood Bible, The Woman Who Was A Mother). I pride myself on making my stories as close to reality as possible.
Humor=love. I will read a humorous story anytime, anyplace, I love laughing. But, unfortunately I'm horrible at writing them. Oh, well. I'll just stick to my vice.
People have told me I'm a nice person. If you want to drop me a line I will always reply. If you friendlist me, I will be very happy. And if you REALLY want to make my day, take five minutes to read one of my stories and an extra two to review. Seriously, that's all you need to do to make me feel better about life.
I. Love. Movies- especially in the summertime (Can anybody say 'air conditioned theaters?) Comedies, romantic comedies and Dramas are my favorite. I would say horror, but I have yet to see a really decent horror flick in many a year. Action/suspense bore me. Some of my favorite movies are: Marie Antoinette, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Little Miss Sunshine, The Royal Tenenbaums, Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (Yay Wes Anderson!)Sunset Blvd, Guess Whos Coming to Dinner (The original. The remake SUCKS) V for Vendetta, The Fountain, Mean Girls (my guilty movie-watching pleasure) and many, many more.
As far as music goes, I love classic, modern and alternative rock. I HATE country and Rap. ESPECIALLY RAP. My favorites include: The Rolling Stones, PANIC!At the Disco, Snow Patrol, The Killers, The Ramones, The Beatles, Fallout Boy, Pink Floyd and the Kinks.
Okay, Tv. I live it. I breathe it. I love it. Gilmore Girls, Bones, NCIS, Firefly (WHY, Fox? WHYYYY?)Arrested Development, Grey's Anatomy (Occasionally), Desperate Housewives.
Books: I like mostly realistic fiction. Scifi and Fantasy just never boded well with me. My favorite authors are Harper Lee,Christopher Moore, Emily Bronte and Jane Austen. My favorite books are To Kill a Mocking Bird, Pride and Prejudice, A Dirty Job, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and Night.
