My goal as a writer is to write the perfect words when combined with the imagination of a reader allows one to get lost in a world of the mind and escape reality if only for a little while. To cause them to be late to work or to bed. To maybe say at it's ending, "Well done." Sorry, I have no grand enlightment goals or even wanting to be rich.

My spare time is spent in doing this junk.

I am but a street level author with no grandiose design or claim, no academic background or skills. Even the word author is wrong, more story teller. An Author plans and develops and condenses and twists the plots and outlines and almost has the entire thing written in the mind before the first letter is struck to computer or paper. A Teller has but a start. It develops on the fly and not even the teller knows how long it will be or how it will end. If they were to tell the same story three times you would have three totally different stories and endings. I tell my story and the first part is done.

I let slip I was retired Army. Yes, I went to Vietnam twice. Yes I saw death up close and personnel and yes I killed more than a few somebodies and that is all there is to that story. Oh, yes I would still do it all over again if called. Yes I am also very opinionated about some things that people who 'claim' they are smart subscribe to.

Almost adult humor (not mine)

A 5th grader told her friend he'd better quit eating Chicken sandwich's and switch to peanut butter like her, they caused her to start growing feathers. He looked, sure enough she was.

A few weeks later he also switched to Peanut Butter sandwich's and she asked to look and she saw and said, "Damn, to late, your growing the neck and gizzards."
