Well there isn't much to say really. My name is Jo, full name Josephine after my mothers favorite story heroine in Little Women but, just call me Jo. I am a 14 year old full time student and part time pirate. Seriously I and my crew of nerds reign supreme on the seven seas of that which we call school. But alas, we shall not go into those details just yet, mind you, when there is so much left unsaid that will never be in fact said.
I guess I could enlighten you with a brief description of myself. I am roughly 5'4 with long red hair (ends small of my back, my mother will not let me dye and or cut it!), green eyes, and freckles (Hoards of freckles, masses of freckles, even my freckles have freckles!). Yup, I am your basic Irish river dancer. I am actual crossing my fingers in hopes that my freckles will one day converge and join into this one huge mass of honey brown and give me a year round tan. Oh but to dreams such impossible dreams!
I am also a little ditsy and energetic, but just give me my meds every morning and I am good to go! I haven't been officially diagnosed with schizophrenia, but the doctor in my head tells me that I am close.
I'm afraid of cows. And feel victorious with every hamburger.
I'm obsessed with every and all things antique. My room is more like a museum then a place where I sleep, type and sing randomly in front of my mirror with a hair brush backed by some killer bass and Night-wish.
I like cheese.
I believe I walk that fine line between insanity and prodigy. Truly it is a hard visage to maintain in a society that demands perfection.....
Seriously, cows suck.
I tend to ramble when I am nervous. Am I rambling? I think I am rambling. But there is really no one here to tell me that I am rambling! What do I do! Make the typing stop! Oh Lord in heaven! WHEN WILL IT EN-

CactusJack on March 29, 2008Hi Silverkisses,

Welcome to the StoryWrite web site.
My username is CactusJack, but I'm known as Jack 'round these parts. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write and hopefully become a published author sometime in the future. It is also a place to sharpen your writing skills and display your creativity while being in a fun environment!
You will notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the gold membership expires, so take the opportunity to see all that our site offers to you.
We have a new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works. http://storywrite.com/group/info/New+members+group
Along with a new members group, we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any subject. http://storywrite.com/contest/3978
It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a great place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.
I have included below a few quick tips that have proven to be very helpful to new members in doing some of the basic functions necessary to get yourself set-up and running on the site. One in particular is fun things to do around Storywrite http://storywrite.com/column/show/161
To find all the emoticons: http://storywrite.com/column/show/53
Chatterbox conduct: http://storywrite.com/column/show/57
Trolls or Cyberbullies: http://storywrite.com/column/show/151
On the right hand side of the page is where you’ll find all you need to edit your stories, change your user info, change your picture, etc. Thank you for joining the StoryWrite web community. Have fun and keep writing!
~Jack~
