Hey it's Scherzando! But you probably already knew that. I'm an off and on writer. I have recently started writing a lot more since I have the WHOLE summer to veg out. I play Piano, viola, and some guitar that I'm teaching myself to play to no avail. I do not bite so don't be afraid to give criticism on my compositions. I need it since I want to try and get accepted into the Interlochen Academy for the Arts. Yes, I want to try and achieve for creative writing, but also for my music. Music is my life, but so is writing now. It's not just a hobby...it's an escape.

    Hi Scherzando;

    My Username is -Syren- and everyone on the site simply calls me Brooke. I would like to welcome you to the StoryWrite web site. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write, in some form or another, and to hopefully become a published author sometime in the future.

    You may notice a gold medal by your name. This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After one week the membership expires and you become a regular member.

    I would also like to take this time to let you know about the new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens on the site.     It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. It is a place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.
