SW Greeters Application

You may be asking, "What do greeters do?"

Greeters are  the first point of contact that a new site member has when joining StoryWrite.  We are often the first impression of the site the new member gets.  The greeters team tries to help new members feel welcome and at home on StoryWrite by welcoming new members, reading and commenting on new members stories, hosting and judging the Monthly New Members contest, manning the help desk, and a variety of other activities to help make your stay on StoryWrite a pleasant one.

We also try to answer questions and help out members of the site who have been around a while

As Greeters we are required to read and comment from all genres of stories, so we recommend that you be 17 in order to be a member.

We recommend that you have at least 6 months as a member on the StoryWrite site ( or All Poetry ) so that you have time to be comfortably familiar with site policies and how the site works.**

If you apply to be a part of the Greeters Team, be sure to include answers to these three questions in your application along with a brief description telling us why you think you would be a good addition to our team.

Please do not copy and paste the questions into your application.

Three Questions to be answered within your Application Submission:

1. How much time during the week do you spend on SW?

2. If you had a choice to be described as trustworthy or outgoing, which would best describe you?

3. How much site savvy do you have about SW?
(How much do you know about how the site works?)

    I was wondering...is there a new members contest for members who joined august 31-september 31? i just joined,and sadly,its the 31st,so i can't enter! *palm*

    I was preparing a story and would have been finished today but the contest closed on time. LOL I discovered it yesterday also. I am a new member and signed on around five days ago. How could this contest be for new members that signed up on Aug. 31 when the contest is already closed it doesn't make sense? I will be using this story in other contests is no big deal. Just had to ask.
