"Follow your inner moonlight, don't hide the madness."
~ Allen Ginsberg
Hi, I'm Robin and I'm a writer... Obviously.
My user name, Robin Omallia, means "Bright Fame of Madness." Robin means bright fame and Omallia means madness. Just so you know. I chose this because I desperately want to be famous some day, and I am a little bit crazy. *insert sketchy eyebrows here* I used to be followyourmoonlight, but I recently changed... just for fun!
Although you were biased I love your advice
Your comebacks they're quick and probably
Have to do with your insecurities
There's no shame in being crazy,
Depending on how you take these
Words they're paraphrasing
This relationship we're staging...
I'm an aspiring writer and playwright. I want to write things for Broadway someday. And maybe even a few books or movie screenplays.
I'm going into my junior year of high school and currently trying to get a play and a musical done so maybe one of them can be used at my high school my senior year. I have a play that I sent into a competition and I will find out how it did in May! Yay!
I'm gonna make it to heaven
Light up the sky like a flame...
I'm writing a novella on Storywrite but I am also writing a rather ambitious play. Once I start getting it finalized I may put that up here as well. So be excited. But while you be excited please read my stories and my developing novella.
If I could walk on water
If I could tell you what's next
Make you believe
Make you forget...
I recently found my way home with the religion Wicca. It really inspires me and it is exactly what I have been looking for in a faith. Robin Omallia is my chosen craft name.
Bide ye wiccan laws you must,
In perfect love and perfect trust.
These eight words the rede fulfill;
An it harm none, do what ye will...
I went to India for four months last year. It was amazing. The best experience of my life. But missing four months of high school changes everything. This is displayed a lot in my writing. I don't know what is happening with everyone. I have changed and so has the everyone else...
I used to think I was special,
And only I have proved me wrong.
I thought I could change the world with a song.
But I have ended up in India,
With no map to guide me home.
Strangest place I think I've ever been,
And all this time I thought that we were friends.
My stubborn will is learning to bend...
I think I may be in love. I never have been before so I don't really know what it is, but what I am feeling is what I think it is supposed to be. I kick myself every day because I never got the chance to say those three magic words to him.
What hurts the most
Was being so close
And having so much to say
And watching you walk away
And never knowing
What could have been
And not seeing that loving you
Is what I was trying to do...
I just can't stop thinking of this person and how wonderful he was. How he listened to me, understood me, joked with me, comforted me. He was amazing, everything I ever could have wanted. The problem is... I may never see him again...
The stars gleam
The poets dream
The eagles fly
Without you
The Earth turns
The sun burns
But I die, without you...
I hope you read and enjoy my writing. Each and every piece I write has some sort of life experience of mine woven in. Often in a strange unrecognizable way. It could be something I was just a bystander for or fully involved in. I can relate to each and very story in some way, and I think that is what makes writing worth while.
I'll show you mine if you show me yours first.
Let's compare scars I'll tell you whose is worse.
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words...
Anyway... Thanks for reading my profile! Hope you read my writing and like it as well!
Much Love,
~ Robin

SageSyren : Welcome to SW on August 4, 2008Welcome to the StoryWrite website!

My username is SageSyren but most people just call me Syren or Brooke. Our site is a community of people who all share a common desire to write and hopefully become a published author sometime in the future. It is also a place to sharpen your writing skills and display your creativity while being in a fun environment!
You will notice a gold medal by your name.
This is a free trial membership. This shows you what options you have if you were a paid member of Storywrite.com. After approximately three days, the gold membership expires, so take the opportunity to see all that our site offers to you.
We have a new members group on the site. This group was set-up to show you how to post your work onto the site and to give you an understanding of how the reading/reviewing of your work actually happens. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you take a peek into this group and see how this process works:
New Members Group
Along with a new members group, we have a New Members Contest that is held every month. Come and check it out. The contest is open to any new member:
New Members Contest
It is recommended that all new members to the site give serious consideration to joining a writing group as a method of assisting them in becoming an active member of the site. Most Storywrite members belong to groups to help them improve their writing skills, to socialize, talk about common interests or otherwise interact with other people of like mind. It is also a great place to make new friends and get helpful critiques.
