ONCE UPON A TIME:
There was a little girl in Suburban Land.
Her name was Pretty-Wicked.
One night, just before Pretty-Wicked was going to fall asleep in her cozy little bed, her mother came to her with a storybook.
She opened the book and read to Pretty-Wicked, she read children's fantasy.
Oh, what a story it was.
It was a story of unicorns and dragons, of a beautiful princess and her steadfast knight-in-shining-armor. Of faeries and love, of kittens and dresses. It ended in Happily Ever After.
Pretty-Wicked's mother smiled at her, and asked, "Pretty-Wicked? How did you like that story? What do you think?"
Pretty-Wicked thought this:
'Hell, I could do better than that.'
And Pretty-Wicked did.
